About Papermarkets
What Papermarkets is
Papermarkets is a paper-trading game for prediction markets. You take positions on real-world questions — elections, rate decisions, games, launches — at the prices real traders are paying, with play money. Nothing is deposited, nothing can be withdrawn, and the only thing you can lose is your place on the leaderboard.
It exists because the cheapest way to find out whether your forecasts beat the market is to keep score without paying for the lesson. It is free: there is no charge for accounts, games or trades, and nothing is sold inside the product.
Where the prices come from
The markets, prices and resolutions come from Polymarket, and from Kalshi wherever Kalshi lists the same event, read through a data service Papermarkets runs itself. Papermarkets is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for either venue, and no trade made here ever reaches them.
A paper order fills at the last price held for that market. If that price is too old, the order is refused rather than filled at a stale number. Positions settle when the real market resolves, on the outcome the venue settles it on.
How the game works
The global competition is a monthly season everyone shares: every account starts it with the same $10,000 of play money, trades the same markets, and is ranked on one public leaderboard that resets when the season ends.
Anyone can also create a private game with its own categories, starting balance, end date and members, and share a link to it. Each game keeps its own balances and its own leaderboard.
Who runs it
Papermarkets is operated by Mo Systems LLC, based in New York, United States. Write to mosystemsllc@gmail.com about anything — a market that looks wrong, a bug, your account, or your data.
Nothing on Papermarkets is financial advice. Read the terms and the privacy policy for the details, or start with the paper trading guide and the live markets.
